A gentle hill session for those who want to start getting those hills in on their runs. A pace of around 12-13mm.
This session will be led by Alan, taking in the hills, inclines & steps around RG2. There may be reps, so get ready for a good session. Don’t worry, nobody will get left behind

On all our evenings over the winter months you must wear a head or body torch. No light no run! Thank you. Join us for an exciting and inclusive hill running session that caters to all fitness levels! We'll be conquering reps, multiple hills, steps, or inclines, and you're free to do as many as you feel comfortable with. Our main goal is to have fun, motivate each other, and enjoy a good conversation along the way. Don't miss out on this opportunity to challenge yourself and connect with like-minded individuals! Each week's session will be:
Pace is around 12-13mm.
5k run. (Easy chatty pace) nobody will be left behind.
You should do this 3 times per week.
Finishing up with a stretch after, this is very important to prevent injury.

On all our evening runs over the winters months you must wear a head or body torch, no light no run! Thanks.
16/1/25
Session 1:
Warm up run to Green Park at a relaxed chatty pace.
1 min easy recovery, followed by;
200m x 5 @mile pace
30 sec rec
1k x 2 @10k pace
2 min rec
Session 2: Beginners
Warm up chatty pace run to GP
1 min rec
30 sec FAST x 4 with 45 sec recovery in between
Session 3: 5k run around GP
Cool down run back to cars.
After the session we will do a stretching session back at the cars, this is very important to aid recovery & prevent injury.
