Mindfully Active

Imagine waking up feeling refreshed and energized, ready to tackle the day ahead. You step outside into the fresh air, ready to take on the world. But first, you join a group of like-minded individuals who are just as excited to get moving and improve their mental and physical health. This is the vision that I had when I founded Mindfully Active.

As a UKA qualified Run Leader and first aider in Sport and Mental Health, I know firsthand the benefits of physical activity for both the mind and body. I've seen the incredible impact that physcal activities can have on a person's mental well-being, and I want to share that with as many people as possible. That's why Mindfully Active was created, a community-based program that focuses on improving overall health and well-being through physical activity and social events. I am passionate about helping others and committed to the Mindfully Active community. Whether you're an experienced runner, or just looking to be more active, Mindfully Active is a place where you can feel welcome, supported, and encouraged to reach your goals.

On all our evening runs over the winters months you must wear a head or body torch, no light no run! Thanks. Session 1: Warm up run to Green Park at a very easy pace (10.30 ish) 1 min rec 2 mins fast x 4 with 90sec rec in between each one. Cool doen run back to cars. Session 2 Warm up run to Green Park at your easy pace. 5k at your easy pace Cool down run back to cars. After the session we will do a stretching session back at the cars, this is very important to aid recovery & prevent injury. Any questions, please do ask.

A gentle hill session for those who want to start getting those hills in on their runs. A pace of around 12-13mm. This session will be led by Tabitha, taking in the hills, inclines & steps around Shinfield. There may be reps, so get ready for a good session. Join us for an exciting and inclusive hill running session that caters to all fitness levels! We'll be conquering reps, multiple hills, steps, or inclines, and you're free to do as many as you feel comfortable with. Our main goal is to have fun, motivate each other, and enjoy a good conversation along the way. Don't miss out on this opportunity to challenge yourself and connect with like-minded individuals!
